Archaeological Museum of Corfu

Museum of Asian Art Corfu

Mon Repos Palace Corfu

Built by the British Lord High Commissioner of the United States of the Ionian Islands, Frederick Adam and his Corfiot wife, this is where Princess Sophie of Greece and Denmark, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh and Princess Alexia of Greece and Denmark were born.

Achillion Palace Corfu

The summer palace of Empress Elizabeth’s of Austria (Sisi) is situated in the picturesque village of Gastouri. In the estate, there are two unique statues of Achilles that justify the name of the palace as it was inspired by the great hero of the Greek Mythology. Achillion has also been operating as a casino and was featured in the James Bond 1981 film “For your eyes only”. The building of the palace was initiated in 1889 and completed in 1892.
